What is Pay-per-click?
When you search for a specific term on Google, you will get both "organic" listings and paid listings. The paid listings are those on at the very top in a yellow box and on the right hand side of the screen under "sponsored links". Each ad there has specified a price they are wiling to pay when someone clicks on their ad and goes to their website.

How does Pay-per-click work?
We will choose a large number of search terms or "keywords" relating to your service or product and set a bid for each keyword based on where it will appear on the rankings. The aim is to bid high enough to get your ad to appear on the first page, without having to spend too much. The trick is to choose the least competitive but highly searched keywords in your niche area so that you can get more clicks for your money.

Is Pay-per-click expensive?
A pay-per-click campaign can be one of the most economical forms of advertising for your business. Since you only pay when somebody clicks on your ad, you are only paying for "targetted" traffic. Think about this, if you advertise in a newspaper, you pay whether someone reads your ad or not.
